| Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) Seed |
It has been illegal for some time to collect and sell material from wild Bluebell populations. Our supplier was granted one of the first licences by the Scottish Government to collect and sell Bluebell seed, from carefully selected approved (and non-hybridised) sites in Scotland. There is currently, however, some confusion as to whether we are allowed to supply customers outside Scotland.
If you are interested in buying seeds, please contact us.
Bluebells prefer a shady site and are ideal for planting under deciduous trees. They take some years to germinate.
Plant in autumn/early winter (September - December), mature plants will flower in mid to late Spring (late April - May)
