 | | | Common Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) The Common Bluebell, or 'Harebell' as the Elizabethans knew it as, is increasingly disappearing as its Spanish cousin and its hybrids take over. Unlike them, it has delicate, scented flowers, and is an important early nectar source for several butterflies and bumblebees. As a woodland flower, Bluebells need shade from the summer sun. This package includes 200 bulbs, which are grown in Wales. Please note that our Bluebell bulbs are despatched between September and November. We are now taking orders for 2011. Flowers: April - May
Supplier: Shipton Bulbs We donate half of our profit from sales of Bluebells to The Bumblebee Conservation Trust
