Eucryphia x nymansensis 'Nymansay'

Eucryphia are attractive and healthy looking small trees from Chile which need full sun - although will tolerate some shade - but cooler roots if possible. Keep sheltered from cold winds. These are lovely trees, like the Japanese pagoda tree producing fragrant white flowers in that period when everything is looking dry and past it. For this reason they are very helpful to bees as well, and come recommended by The British Beekeepers' Association as an ornamental.

Size: 3 litre pot
Flowers: August - September
Soil type: Moist, well drained neutral to acid soils
Supplier : R.V.Roger
This tree is supplied bare root, and is consequently only available from October to April.

We donate half of our profit on sales of Eucryphia x nymansensis 'Nymansay' to the Laboratory of Apiculture and Social Insects at the University of Sussex
