 | | | Orchard Management Course
Summary
A classroom session in the morning will cover the technical side of managing fruit trees, followed by discussion. There will then be a demonstration in the orchard. After lunch, trainees have the chance to practice themselves under supervision.
Venue
The course venue will be in South East Somerset.
Tutor
Kevin Croucher. Kevin studied Horticulture to HND level and also gained a Certificate in Education(FE). Prior to starting Thornhayes Nursery in 1991, he worked as a College Lecturer, a Local Government Landscape and Tree Officer and in Garden Centres. His knowledge of horticulture is broad and based on years of practical experience and observation.

Timing: 9.00 start, finishing at 4.00.
