Heath Heather's great selling points are that it is tolerant of alkaline soils and can flower all winter. These are valuable plants for honey bees, not just for its winter nectar, but also as an early pollen source. Heathers are also food plants for 30 butterfly and moth species. Best planted in larger groups it makes for good ground cover too.

If we cannot find exactly the variety you would like in the nursery at the moment and we can find a very close alternative, we hope it is acceptable to supply it in lieu. Before we do so, however, we will ask you if you would be happy to accept a substitute.
