 | | | Shade Loving Perennials: Lungwort (Pulmonaria)
Pretty funnel shaped flowers changing from pink to blue, leaves have white spots - hence one of its synonyms, "Mary-spilt-the-milk". It has also been variously known as 'Sage of Bethlehem', 'Jerusalem cowslip' and 'Soldiers and Sailors'. Will grow in very shady spots, and much visited by bumblebees. Oddly, an ingredient of vermouth.

officinalis "Rubra": red flowers
officinalis "Sissinghurst White": pure white
If we cannot find exactly the variety you would like in the nursery at the moment and we can find a very close alternative, we hope it is acceptable to supply it in lieu. Before we do so, however, we will ask you if you would be happy to accept a substitute.
