One tray costs £75, and two or more are £70 each, meaning these generous sized (55cc) native wildflower plug plants work out at 67p or less a plant inc. VAT and delivery. Use 5 per square metre. This is a useful way of quickly establishing plants, particularly in existing sward and/or for smaller areas - see our Plug Planting Guide for details, or Sarah's Wildflower Bank for an illustration. These British wildflowers aren't just attractive and good sources of nectar, but they're also essential foodplants for butterfly and moth larvae. Visit Natural England's native plant database to view a picture of each plant and see which animal species it is associated with.
Our suppliers are signatories to the Flora Locale code of practice, as are our wildflower seed mix suppliers. All the plants are grown from guaranteed native seed, most of which is collected by the suppliers themselves.
