Prunus x subhirtella 'Autumnalis' (Winter Flowering Cherry)

Prunus x subhirtella 'Autumnalis' is a wonderful garden tree, flowering throughout the winter from autumn in mild spells - so a really useful resource for bees. This variety of Winter Cherry has masses of semi-double pinky-white flowers opening from deeper pink buds, which give it its alternative name of Rosebud Cherry. Prunus x subhirtella 'Autumnalis' has attractive foliage which turns from pale bronze in the spring to yellow in the autumn.
