Stock Friendly Hedge Mix

These stock friendly plants are strong 60/80 cm hedge whips in a diverse native mix ideal for paddocks and garden hedges, and approved for grant-aided planting. Although there is no Blackthorn in the mix, avoiding potential damage to horse's eyes, it is good for laying and will make a dense thick hedge. Like all newly planted hedging however, it will need to be protected from animals for the first few years. This diverse mix is 50% Hawthorn and 10% each of 5 species of native hedging plant chosen by us from a list that includesCrab Apple, Dog Rose, Dogwood, Field Maple, Guelder Rose, Hazel, Spindle, Field Rose, Wayfaring Tree.
