The Grasslands Trust was established in 2002 to address the crisis facing our wildflower-rich grasslands. Our vision is that one day everyone in the UK will have a beautiful meadow close to their home.
What do we actually do?
We help save and restore threatened sites and raise awareness of the importance of grasslands: not only for their wildlife, but also their cultural, historic and landscape value.
We give advice to individuals, local communities, businesses, charities, government and landowners on how to manage and restore grasslands nationwide.
We lobby decision makers to ensure grasslands are better protected.
