Wayfaring Tree (Viburnum lantana)

Another Viburnum, like the Guelder Rose, which is widely distributed in the south on chalk. The Wayfaring Tree has creamy white lily scented flowers in May - June which attract bees and butterflies, and are followed by red berries that turn black as they ripen. It is a useful plant in a wildlife hedge.
Provenance certificates are available on request for Wayfaring trees, which are from the Southwest of England.

During the lifting season there may be up to two week’s delay between placing the order and dispatching, due to weather conditions or pressure of orders, which are dealt with in date sequence. Orders placed for Wayfaring trees between March and September are confirmed in October ready for dispatch from November.
