 | | | Perennials for Sun or Part Shade: Yarrow (Achillea) Achillea cultivars not only attract butterflies and bees, but are often visited by hoverflies and ladybirds. They are drought tolerant and their plate-like flowers bloom all summer. You will find Common Yarrow in many of our native seed mixes and plug plant collections. It has many synonyms, including Milfoil and Nose Bleed and Woundwort, reflecting its supposed ability to reduce conditions associated with high blood pressure.
