The bank is south west facing, and made from spoil from recent building work. It lies between a gravel area next to the house and a riverbank, which is behind the post and rail fence. After repeat applications of herbicide we will plant a mix of perennial wildflower plugs and intersperse them with an autumn sowing of cornfield annuals which we'll also drift onto the gravel.
