Landscape and Garden Design
If you are interested in creating a meadow we recommend a visit from Andrew George. Andrew is the author of The Butterfly Friendly Garden and his recent projects include the extraordinary Butterfly World outside St. Albans. His designs combine a strong understanding of native botany and architectural landscaping. We also work with other meadow specialists who can advise on more general meadow schemes.
We also work with landscape architect Phil Brown, who designs and project manages a diverse range of prestigious private garden, estate and commercial landscape projects throughout the UK. Projects have involved larger scale native woodland restoration and creation of new woodland and lakes. Phil's interest in organic produce, rare breeds and bee keeping are evident in his designs for orchards, kitchen and woodland gardens. He is accomplished at hedge laying and dry-stone walling himself and has restored dew ponds and coppice within ancient woodland.
For ponds and lakes we work with Hugh Roberts. Hugh is immensely experienced, and is as at home working with small garden projects as he is with large scale wetland landscapes and lakes. We can also supply bio-engineering specialists.
