We made this pond as part of our Pond Course in 2010, and you can see more pictures of it being created in our
Blog. We used a Bentomat liner and planted the margins up with our gorgeous
native marginal plant selection, augmented with our
pond edge seed mix. A week later
Filled with water (and invertebrates!) from the spring at the top of the field.

The plants are now well on their way, and even some of the seed has germinated - despite the dry weather. The pond is already a magnet for
wildlife. August 2010
Many of the seeded plants are now in flower, together with the Purple Loosestrife and Flowering Rush. We have now had a modest range of
Dragonflies visit the pond too.
