Orchard Trees

Natural England have calculated that over 60% of our orchards have been lost since the 1950's. Where we are - in Somerset - the demise of fruit trees has been particularly obvious. Traditional orchards have recently been added to the list of "priority" habitats needing protection because of their high natural biodiversity. Fruit trees represent a rich and ancient local heritage as well; there are over 2,500 varieties of apple tree in the UK, for example.

You'll find many of the best of our traditional apple tree varieties here. Our other top fruit includes cherry, crab apple, damson, gage, medlar, mulberry, pear, plum and quince trees. We also have a wide range of nut bushes and trees and soft fruit.

I would like to thank you for the wonderfully caring service you provide and also to say that I have never seen trees so carefully packaged for transportation. I shall certainly recommend your company to friends in Cornwall who are buying trees at the moment.(MK, Cornwall)
