British trees for exposed sites
This selection of five species of wind tolerant native British trees provides protection and shelter in exposed positions. It can include Rowan,Field Maple,Whitebeam, Birch, and Scots Pine. We'll check with you as to your exact requirements. The collections are available in 50, 100, or 500 plants. These are 60-90cm tall bare root plants apart from Scots Pine, which is pot grown and much smaller (20-40cm). Plant with 2m or 2.5m spacings.
Provenance certificates are available on request for these trees, which are from the Southwest of England.

See our planting and size guide for details and tips on planting. These plants are mostly bare root, and are consequently available for delivery from November until March. During this period there may be up to two weeks delay between placing the order and dispatching, due to weather conditions or pressure of orders, which are dealt with in date sequence. Orders placed between March and September are confirmed in October ready for dispatch from November.
