Scottish Highlands Meadow Seed Mix

Suitable for upland meadows, this seed mix of grasses and wildflowers recreates a grassland type found on well drained Scottish Highland sites with acidic soils. It is similar to the calcifugous British Plant Communities U2 and U4.


Seed origin: Fife, Berwickshire, Inverness-shire, Perthshire, Angus, Orkney.

Although we test our seed and it has high germination rates, you need to be careful about initial care and establishing an annual regime. Don't be put off though - once you get the hang of it it's pretty straightforward.
