Hedge Mix: Traditional Hedge
It you want a traditional mixed hedge tweaked to your own site and requirements we can help. Rather than the standard Conservation hedge we can supply the species mix which would work best for you, carefully selected from our range of traditional native hedge plants, grown in Britain from British seed. We sell our traditional hedge plants in packs of 50.

Traditional hedges vary from site to site but they are generally brilliant for wildlife and lay very well, as the picture shows.

These hedge plants are bare root, so they are available for delivery from November until March. During the lifting season there may be up to two weeks delay between placing the order and despatch, due to weather conditions or pressure of orders, which are dealt with in date sequence. Orders for hedging plants placed between March and September are confirmed for despatch from November.

Call or email us to discuss your requirements before placing your order.

We also offer a planting service for larger projects.

Please looks at our tips for planting and initial care of hedge whips, and on establishment and maintenance in our blog. You can find out more about the history of hedges here.
