Dorset Meadow Seed Mix for Calcareous Soils

This stunning Dorset wildflower meadow mix is specially selected for poor, chalky soils. This environment is ideal for wildflowers, and this mix of drought tolerant species will give you flowering interest all season long. The seed is harvested from wild populations in the county.
The seed is harvested from sites in Dorset, from wild plant populations. We also offer various "direct harvest" mixes from Dorset, which you can see described on our sister site, British Wildflower Meadow Seeds.

Your purchase helps us support a range of charities which are related to the products we sell.

We strongly recommend reading up on wildflower meadows before buying seed - see our resources section and brief guide to preparation and aftercare, which includes links to our "how to" blogs and video.

Although we test our seed and it has high germination rates, you need to be careful about initial care and establishing an annual regime. Don't be put off though - once you get the hang of it it's pretty straightforward.
