Round-headed Leek (Allium spaerocephalon)
Round-headed Leeks (Allium sphaerocephalon) are much more attractive than they sound! Their small round umbels of purple flowers make a helpful addition to borders when planted in numbers, and like most Alliums are a great source of nectar. They flower in mid summer, and reach a height of about 2 feet. Like all our native bulbs, our Allium spaerocephalon come from an isolated nursery in deepest Wales, where they are lifted to order. We sell Round-headed Leeks in units of 20 or 100 bulbs. Please note that they are despatched from August to October.
