Early Crocus (Crocus tommasinianus) Collection

Crocuses provide an excellent and important source of early pollen for honeybees and their new brood in particular. Crocus tommasinianus self seeds well and blooms from January. It will tolerate most situations and soil types. Please note that these bulbs are despatched between September and November. This selection consists of 40 bulbs each of 5 varieties selected from:

Crocus tommasinianus: pale lilac to purple
'Barr's Purple': deep purple
'Lilac Beauty': delicate
'Ruby Giant': large, violet (see picture)
'Whitwell Purple': prolific, reddish purple
