Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) Seed
We can now offer our native British Bluebell seed, harvested under Scottish Government licence from a croft in Skye. No Spanish bluebells here! As there are approximately 100 bluebell seeds per gm, you can see it is a very cost efficient way to establish a large area. We do, however, also supply bluebell bulbs.
Bluebells prefer a shady site and are ideal for planting under deciduous trees. They take some years to get going from seed - typically 4 to 6 years to grow a flowering size bulb. Our Bluebell seed is available from the end of August to October. Around 100 seeds per g.
Please ask for quotes for larger amounts.
