Bath Asparagus (Ornithogalum pyrenaicum ) is a pretty but rare relation of Star of Bethlehem. No prizes for guessing where it was once found in abundance, or that it is edible; it was eaten as a delicacy by generations past.
Like many of our native bulbs, our Bath Asparagus comes from an isolated small holding in deepest Wales, where they are lifted to order.
