Fruit Tree Rootstocks
Fruit Tree Rootstocks
Rootstocks are grafted onto a cutting (the "scion") and dictate the terminal size of a tree.
We generally only offer fruit trees on semi-vigorous or vigorous traditional rootstocks. These will produce trees which are suitable for some trained forms and to make sensible sized trees for gardens and orchards. We usually sell them as small maidens or bush plants, from 2 years old, so they will typically only require support from a cane and spiral for a couple of years after planting.
