This handsome purple blue plum was named by nurseryman Joseph Kirke in London, though it's not clear where he found it. It has excellent flavour and a pleasing spreading habit. It needs a sunny sheltered site to prosper and is self-sterile, so needs a pollinator.

These 2-3 year old plants are over 120cm with a clear stem of 80cm and several lateral branches. They will grow up to around 4m.

At the height of the lifting season - between November and March - there may be up to a month?s delay between placing the order and dispatching due to pressure of orders, which are dealt with in date sequence, and the weather.
