Wildflowers for Boggy Areas
These are some of our prettiest native plants for damp and boggy areas. If you would like individual species of native plant for wet areas please get in touch; the chances are we can supply it.
This selection of wet loving wildflowers includes 77 plants selected from five of the species below (according to availability) in generous 110cc plugs. All these plugs are grown in the UK, from seed from plant populations in Britain.
Please note that these plug plants are only available on a seasonal basis. The nursery grows new stock from autumn to early spring, so we do not deliver over this period. Please note that most plants supplied at the beginning of the season are only just renewing growth and some may still be dormant, as they're not grown under glass.
Selected from:
Marsh-marigold (Caltha palustris)
Ragged-robin (Lychnis flos-cuculi)
Yellow Iris (Iris pseudacorus)
Marsh Woundwort (Stachys palustris)
Purple Loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria)
