Cell Grown Plants
In addition to the bare root plants we offer, we can also source small cell grown trees. As all our native plants, these are grown in the UK from seed collected here.
Cell grown plants are typically less well developed than a good quality bare root alternative, but they are easier to handle (helpful for community planting projects) and can be planted over a longer window. They're usually between 20cm and 60cm, depending on the species.
They're in short supply in the UK, so availability can be variable. Please contact us if you have an enquiry. We can often help as we talk to a number of specialist wholesale growers. Typically sold in multiples of 10.
